Long Lake Flat Water Training Centre Society

We are founded on meeting the needs of Rowers and Paddlers​

 

Our Society is focused on providing a Training Facility on Long Lake for members of the Nanaimo Rowing Club, the Nanaimo Canoe and Kayak Club and others that choose to join these two clubs at their facilities.

 

Our Primary Goal is to replace the  present cage used for storing boats with a low maintanence steel boathouse structure.  This will greatly increase the life span of the two clubs' boats.

Members of programs longer than one month in the Nanaimo Rowing Club or the Nanaimo Canoe and Kayak Club are eligible to be members of the Long Lake Flatwater Training Centre Society. Your membership is essential to demonstrate support for making this facility exist and to provide the infrastructure to design, build and maintain it.
